Norton LifeLock: NSBU-ESD-22.21.1.151-EN
All you need is a third party AV such as Norton (paid and registered) = No WU. Not sure if it will stay that way with no AV, never tried and not prudent to keep the machine with no AV.
The chances are pretty high that the system will generate red flags with no AV = Defender strong implementation = internal protections.
Disabling and deleting the 4 instances in the task scheduler library is better (video). Not shown in Ccleaner after.
The firewall is running (Norton) and we let it run. We are not using any external apps to do so, nor any cosmic tweaks.
Norton does that in regedit:
disable_antispyware + a little more to gain control
We do that:
disable_real_time_monitoring + all switches in Windows security OFF > Off by default > all > Restart
This is set to 3, we don't touch that:
Take good note that disturbing Defender at a higher level affects stability.Code:Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\AarSvc_49c78
PS: Disable Microsoft Defender automatic samples submission is a bonus: Adguard Stealth Mode
