    Malicious software removal tool


    As part of the regular patch tuesday, MS released a malicious software removal tool. This year that frequency went from monthly to quarterly, and event that varies. This month (Nov 20) there's a new one out, 2 months after the last one: KB890830 v5.84, and it's been detected for several days before I actually noticed it was available.
    Both my win 7 laptops have got it, but there's just no sign of it for windows 10 yet. Is there any method in the distribution of the tool to win10 PC's?

    From Microsoft -

    Starting May 2020, Microsoft releases the MSRT on a quarterly cadence as part of Windows Update or as a standalone tool.

    You can download it manually from MS.

    It showed up for us last night on Windows Update.
