SmartScreen and Antimalware Service running Very High Power Usage

I just set up a new Workstation use the HP Win10 software to do initial install (local account) They signed in to Insider and upgrade to 2036.1005. While I do NOT observe and notice and slow down (Workstatoin has Optane drive, lots of Memory) the task manager is constanly have the Windows Defender SmartScreen and Antimalware Service at the top of the list with VERY HIGH Power usage.

I did a little online searching for solutions and most do not align with the Defender version on here. The only thing that fixes it is to complete turn off RealTime protection.

Open to trying whatever you feel might help.

Again....if I do NOT look at the task manager, I woudl never know I have something going on.

PC has been setup and running now for three days.

    Greets,

1.It's related to Windows Insider ? Then please take it to the Windows Insider subforum Or allow us to move it there. So ?

    2. Disabling Windows Defender or Turning off its Real-time protection is not advisable for regular use! Or you should install a 3rd party Security solution.

3.I believe you are aware that Windows Insider Program is an experimental zone normally not meant for stable OS purposes & often used under Virtual Machine!

    Thanks. ...
