Reboot and enable the defender.
Hello, FreeBooter defender is still disabled. And my computer is lagging bad now. Sorry for the wait
Your IT administrator has limited access to some areas of this app Defender – This issue can sometimes occur due to your third-party antivirus, so you might have to disable it temporarily.
Hello, FreeBooter I am running windows 10 home/core edition and I don't have a IT admin. I also don't have any other antimalware or antispyware or antitrojan then the Malwarebytes software you had me install.
Edit: I am very stumped on what to do
I'm also gonna do another reboot after I try this again
Enable Build-in user account to see you can use this account to enable the defender.
- Press Windows + X key together on your desktop screen.
- Open Command Prompt as a administrator
- Type the following command and hit Enter:
- net user administrator /active:yes
Please make sure to avoid using the account under normal conditions as it can be risky. You can use the following command to make the account inactive:
net user administrator /active:no
Currently in the stage of rebooting to remove security policy. Gonna have to reboot to enable defender again. Hopefully it works I’m gonna run the scripts at trusted installer to see if that helps

Thank You FreeBooter for fixing my issue it works but how do I reenable the windows defender icon on the taskbar?
You are very welcome!
Enable it from Startup tap at Task Manager and reboot your computer.
