    WiseVector StopX component?

Does anyone know what "Instruction Tracer" is or what it does?

There's some references here but it doesn't explain.

Wisevector themselves are very active on Wilders Security and Malwaretip forums. You can ask them there directly!

Sounds like it "traces" ransomware related instructions that may appear in the RAM.
Also... that company in in China. Beijing to be exact.

That would make sense. So I'll leave it enabled for now.

I use or have used a few Chinese softwares including Dism++, 360TotalSecurity and in the past some Aomei products.

Not a problem for me on my machine at home.

New to me. Read their privacy policy. Anyway looking into it a little further I see that it's offered as a free trial since 2018 and at some point in the future it will be released in two versions. A paid product with all features enabled and a free product with only basic features. So at this point you could expect that they are still ironing out bugs.

Example: On my machine there's no access to the quarantine folder via the GUI but items can be manually deleted by navigating to the folder.
