My Edge browser is stuck on a page telling me that I have a virus

    All you have to do is pull your network cable, or disable your network adapter, kill Edge, restart it and then close the pages, which won't be able to reload the fake virus page. Then close edge normally, re-enable your network and you're fine so long as you don't go back to that site.

    You don't have a virus, it's just a specially crafted webpage that prevents itself from being closed, and Edge "helpfully" reloads the page every time you re-open it after killing.

    I also cleared my Edge Browser history (for safety and overkill).

    otherwise this solution is FABULOUS.
