How to turn off notification that Windows Firewall is off?

1. Since our Windows 10-Home is on a router I've been told that I don't need to have the Windows Firewall On.
Assuming that is still true, how do I turn off the warning message that the firewall is off?

2. How do I get the Malwarebyes icon to be pinned to the always visible Notification Area (bottom right) so that I can always see that it is on? Presently I have to click on the little up arrow to see the excess icons that are currently on?
Some of these I would also like to pin so they are always visible ie the Disconnect external Passport drive icon?

Hi, @robls99

#1. For maximum security, always have your Windows firewall on. It provides a level of security in tandem with the router. It is designed to work in conjunction with common home routers to provide the best security. Leave your Windows Firewall enabled. Here is a good and easy to read explanation of why to have both.

#2. Right click the taskbar and click Task Bar settings at bottom. Then scroll the screen down until you see Select which, like in this pic.

Click the Select. You will get this screen:

I have all of mine selected with the "select all" at the top, but you can toggle just Malwarebytes on by clicking the button next to it.

That's it. You may need to sign off and back on to see the effect.
