Win 10 Firewall won't open- stuck in Airplane mode - no wifi driver

I had a glorious windows update on restart. It somehow corrupted my wifi driver and more. Firewall wont work, malwarebytes cannot be uninstalled, no wifi choices and I am stuck in Airplane mode ---no way to change it. I am going to create a dual boot system on an ssd rather than re-install everything. I hope I can run all my programs that way. Could the driver issue be fixed. I tried a .msi driver re-instal and more --- no solution.

Try uninstalling the update, or use System Restore to roll back to a recent restore point before the update.

Restore points were deleted in the update. How do I uninstall the update?

    Method 1 (most common) -

Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update

Scroll down to View update history and click.

Click on the Uninstall updates link at the top.

    Method 2 -

Open an elevated (Run as Administrator) Command prompt.

Enter this command in the format - wusa /uninstall /KB:kb number

    Example: wusa /uninstall /KB:4537821

No change after uninstalling. I dont think it is uninstalling, after clicking uninstall it no indication it was uninstalled. I will try tomorrow.

    Any input is welcome.
