    SPYWARE scanner is slowing down each scan of a certain file


    I run SuperAntiSpyware Pro every day (as well as MBAM Premium)

    the SAS scan time is getting longer and longer . 46mins this morning
    and the 'progress' bar hangs when scanning this file

    C:\Users\USER\AppData\Local\BraveSoftware\Brave-Browser\User Data\Default\Code Cache\js

    the js folder contains 110,168 items.. 99% of which are 1kb
    can these items be trimmed /deleted....?

    Welcome to the forum. Are you running both anti malware as running 2 can confuse them and make them inafactive. Do you have the browser open during the scan as its a cache so files will be written to it all the time
