NEEDING SERIOUS HELP: Windows Defender Has Removed an App???

Hi all,

I'm really in "Panic-mode" about this!

I just installed the newest Windows 10 Update called "2004". Since then, Windows 10 seems to have detected a "threat" called "Win32/iBryteInstaller" that was attached to the App called "Vuze".
However, now the "Vuze .EXE" file is no longer present in: "C:\Program Files\Vuze\Azureus.exe" and it seems that Windows 10 has deleted it because it thought it was a threat.

Does anyone what I can do to get it back?

But how can I get the file back as it was on my Windows 10 PC earlier?

I really need the Vuze .EXE file.

I don't think I can re-install it because I had all of my settings customised so if I re-install it I'd lose all of these settings...

There must be a way I can retrieve the Vuze .EXE file?

Okay I tried excluding the .EXE file, but it says "File not found"

I just tried finding the Vuze .EXE file in "quarantined files", but there aren't any files that appear:

I just tried running the command in CMD: "%ProgramFiles%\Windows Defender\MpCmdRun.exe" -Restore -Name EUS:Win32/CustomEnterpriseBlock -All

but it says "No quarantined items"

This would be trial and error:
Launch Windows recovery environment > return to prior windows version (typically 10 days before windows old is deleted)

I'm trying out the "Launch Windows recovery environment " now.

EDIT:
I'm really terrified that I won't be able to restore the "Vuze.EXE" file... Everything was fine until Windows Security decided to delete the "Vuze.EXE" file

I'm reading about "Windows recovery environment" but it seems like it's only for recovering damaged Windows files? How would it recover the "Vuze.EXE" file?

The box to "Clear old configuration" is NOT checked by default. Does that help?

Sorry, I made a mistake.

The file that's now missing is "Azureus.EXE" not "Vuze.EXE"

Thanks, but is there another way I can restore the "Azureus.EXE" file that's missing? I'm just worried that by using the "Vuze setup" method I'll be deleting my old Vuze settings and downloaded files?

Create a new local user account:
Add Local Account or Microsoft Account in Windows 10

Give it admin privileges:
Change Account Type in Windows 10

Login in to the new user account created. Re-install Vuze using that account. That should get the program back without messing with the settings established in your regular user account.

It appears as if the user defined settings are stored in %appdata%\Azureus
