Ccleaner free. Not bad if you understand how to configure it's settings and rules.

Got my Bank statement today and sure enough $26.70 was deducted on the statement.
I am going to my bank Monday. If they will let me in, because of this virus thing, I am going
to stop any payments to PayPal, Cleverbridge, Venture mfg. & the free Ccleaner. I have
used Paypal and Ccleaner the past but never the other 2.
I guess there is a slew of companies that have to work this way because their programs
    are not worth having.
I am one of those guys that don't like to put ANY credit card #s on the internet. Thought
Paypal was a reputable company (maybe it is). However they have a clause that states
that any transaction over 180 days will be void. I sent an email to them yesterday
and they are going to reply by July 9th. Cuts into the 180 days a tad doesn't it.....
Things like this should NOT happen.

Why do you consider Paypal at fault? Sounds like you were the one, inadvertently or not, that authorized the automatic renewal of CCleaner.

Contact Cleverbridge, tell them that was an error and you do not want automatic renewal of CCleaner and contact PayPal and tell them to cancel/void the payment. Do you have a copy of the original order for CCleaner? It should say in there if you have automatic renewal set up.

You should be able to get this straightened out without a trip to the bank. Both companies are reputable and should be reasonable to work with.
