    sick nasty spam in email box about very nasty porn help

    So i allready confirmed with ms this is not there number or there support security centre as the email said, but this scares me said i was looking at very nasty porn, i don't do that, with your windows license is revoked to get back call this number, well i did not call that number , called ms instead verified not there email not there number. need to make sure someone has not put some malware or something on my system, or some kind of automated bot or something. i'm ruining malwarebytes now and will run windows defender here in a second what other programs can i run to make sure nothing is on my pc. that was a sick nasty email and quit scary to say the least.

    Emsisoft | Emergency Kit Pro: Portable Malware & Virus Scanner

    Emisoft emergency scanner;

    I think there's a free version that will last indefinitely. I don't see it right now, but at this link you can at least get the 30 day free trial.

    Hello @Tonyb,

    [1] The first thing I would 100% do is to virus scan ALL your Folders and Files where you have your data along with running MALWAREBYTES.
    [2] Then I would copy ALL those Folders and Files to a NEW or UNUSED USB or external HDD.
    [3] Then I would scan the WHOLE drive along with running MALWAREBYTES.

    This will at least ensure that ALL your Folders and Files are SAFE and VIRUS FREE etc.

    Hello @Tonyb,

    So let me see if I have got this right!

    [1] You re-installed the OS?
    [2] You haven't got ANY files that you cannot afford to lose?
    [3] This problem was caused by opening an email and clicking a link?

    Is the above correct?

    did not click anything got the message in spam along with a dozen other people got same message said they detected i was looking at sick sh!t uhmm not me i hate sick stuff i despise people that look at it. but anyhow said windows was locked and i would not get anymore updates as they revoked my key, but key is not revoked windows functions fine. just making sure nothing is on my pc that could have generated a spam message like that. could also be just spammers and hackers and idiots trying to get money out of people who fall for it as well.
