    SecureAplus..pretty good so far

I downloaded SecureAPlus whilst reading a thread from a member. So far so good .
Downloaded the latest Windows Updates and during the installation SecureAPlus message popped up stating threat detected..strange i thought it's Microsoft Windows Update...checked SecureAPlus threat notification details which highlighted MSI Installer..so clicked Trusted box as i knew Microsoft would not put suspicious files in their operating systems.

SecureAPlus found couple more threats on legigimate software i downloaded to try and were classed as false positives.
This program offers another layer of protection besides your conventional Internet Security programs you have.

I have until 12 August 2020 to try it...pretty good trial period.

My OS is Windows 10 Pro version 18363.836 the latest

    Hi, three differentiating features:
    - whitelisting exe's dlls and scripts- means an extra level of protection should anything new and untoward try to run
    - sits alongside any conventional AV
    - ability to scan items with up to some 13 AV engines

The one thing I find is rather higher than I like significant CPU use by Everything which it uses, with default settings. I ended up turning off a couple scan settings.

Some false positives- mostly by 1 AV engine alone- so readily dismissible.

Good support, found I had to disable 1 or 2 of the AV engines.

They didn't used to include Everything. When they added that was when I stopped using it. Also I always installed the No AV version.

It does a decent job if you know how to react to the pop ups for detected files wanting to run.
