    can't set bitlocker


    i originally had 8.1 now I have a win 10 pro 16gb ram drive tb gb Lenovo 3040 all in one. and I set up bitlocker I think correctly I got it to the login and the screen times out after 8 seconds I can't input password. version 1909

    Boot your computer into Windows Recovery Environment (WinRE) and from the WinRE command prompt, manually type the commad: manage-bde -unlock C: -rp recoverypassword to unlock the drive and press Enter.

I use Bit Locker encryption on all of my Thumb drives that contain personal data. Has anyone else of late, noticed the slow down of Bit Locker USB full encryption process. 7-8hrs to encrypt a Sandisk 128 GB Thumb drive is ridiculous.:(
