We’ve been getting quite a few phishing e-mails lately, supposedly from Amazon Prime. The hook is a claim that your subscription is expiring on that day and your credit card has expired. The spam is asking for a valid credit card to keep the account alive. Sometimes the Amazon domain is a bit off. Sometimes there are obvious misspellings. I view the source and there is always an imbedded program attached to the e-mail. I forward the e-mail to Amazon’s stop spam e-mail address, block the sender’s domain on the ISP’s mail server, and delete the e-mail from the PC’s e-mail program.
