    Odd request trying to access internet after start up


    Good Morning,

    Zone alarm is catching 57c142d5-d091-4787-a501-1def707df9ac.exe trying to access the internet after logging in. Does anyone know what this is? windows 10

    I suggest you locate it on your PC, examine the path, try rt click Properties, and upload it to Virustotal.

    Or you can also use Malwarebytes Free edition (on demand) for home:

    If you wish both can be used to get a solid opinion.

    ZA doesn't have a recommendation or a complete path. I am unable to find with search including hidden files and folders. malware bytes has come back empty for days. That is why i am asking. i am not sure what to make of it. I have also scanned with panda, avast, and defender. I have also scanned with SAS.

    Open the Command Prompt as a administrator and execute below command to display location of file that match the search pattern.

    That file does not exists on C: partition if you have any other partitions search them as well.

    Yes looks like you're computer is clean you can also scan for malware infection with HitmanPro.
