    Defender Quarantines WinAero Tweaker

I've had WinAero Tweaker on my laptop for 8 months yet Defender has now decided to quarantine it. Why has it done this after such a long delay? I downloaded the software from the supplier's site and did a virus scan on the file at the time.

Updated detection? Updated tweaker version? Or maybe it just doesn't like you any more...

You can cross-check with Virustotal of course.

I've had no problems here. Have you possibly configured a tweak recently that WD isn't happy with?

That's an interesting read. I'll check my WD definitions version when next at my PC.

I didn't get the issue on my other PCs having WinAero Tweaker since they are now using the updated Defender definition. I'm marking this solved since it was a temporary issue.
