Issue with Windows Defender after last WD Update:

People using Windows Defender will probably see a Windows Defender notification after a scan saying that an item was skipped. I think this started happening for me after the last Windows Defender Update on February 3 but could have been after a Windows Update at some point after that. More info is available here: Warning: Windows Defender May Break (Workaround) | www.infopackets.com Using Windows 10 1903 Build 18363.752

Thanks. Yes, we've been tracking that here since March 10th after it came in on Defender Platform 4.18.2003.4-0

New Defender Platform 4.18.2003.4-0 - Items skipped during scan Alert

Thanks Farvatten and Anibor. I applied the fix through the Microsoft Catalog and the problem is gone. One thing I'm not sure of. When I clicked on the download for the fix it showed 3 files. I just downloaded and installed the 1st file which fixed the problem and also reset the WD Scheduled tasks. Was I supposed to download and install all 3 files?

I answered my own question about the 3 files included in the Download for the WD fix. Only the 1st file was needed, at least in my case.
