Is it safe to install MalwareBytes on the D: partition of HDD?

I have a small SSD. For programs where speed is not essential, I install these on the D: partition of my HDD.

Does it cause problems if I install MalwareBytes on D: ? It's the paid version.

I plan to do a simple uninstall, followed by an install of the latest version.

    Thanks.

It might be "safe", but it's strongly NOT recommended to install any software other than on the system drive.

I wouldn't see why not. Most of all if the program itself gives you the option to do it.

    You're correct

The install options allow you to modify the default location.

    Thanks.
