Is Windows Security okay or no?

I've heard that Windows Security is okay, but I've also heard that Windows 10 is having problems with updates

So far things have been going well for me but hey, the year is young

Test antivirus software for Windows 10 - December 2019 | AV-TEST - they also think WD ["Windows security"] is okay.

Many people are having problems with File explorer search in Ver 1909. There might be other issues but that's all I've noticed. It is worth monitoring TenForums for announcements of new Cumulative updates & other updates so you can see what MS says about them and what the early adopters discover about them.

"My" experience with 1909 since release has been pretty good. But so was 1903, in which 1909 gets most its code.

As for security updates, I've run every Windows non server OS's since Windows 95 and always installed service packs and Windows updates.

Yeah, some may have issues, but overall most (not all) won't.

    My two cents

In the computer world that's misleading. Just because you can't see an issue doesn't mean there isn't one. Suddenly that app or service you need, but rarely use, doesn't work. Fix... the patch you just let go by

Defender is OK but I augment it with offline scans using AdwCleaner

I use MS Defender Security and Malwarebytes Premium together and they work flawlessly.
