    Looking for some Antivirus Advice

I'd like to use a Free one before I decide if I'd like to pay for the Full Version.
I'd like an Antivirus w/a good reputation, that can stop tracking cookies & pop-ups, somewhat fast but very thorough scans w/easy to read & understand results-that can also be copied to a notepad/printed & one that is very customizable.

Avast: I've used this in the past & like that it can separately scan the memory, rootkits, auto-start programs, has boot-scans, etc. And that it has easy automatic & manual update routines.
I don't like that it has full protection against dangerous URLs only in Chrome & Firefox. I use Vivaldi.

These 2 I've never used before:
Panda Dome: I like that it's light on system resources & has security news & alerts sections that shows critical, warning & informational messages.
I don't like that it resets a browser's home page & default search engine if the user is not careful.

TotalAV: I like that it has an Adware Cleaner & Anti-Ransomware.
I don't like that it's Web Shield only works w/Firefox & Chrome. Again, I use Vivaldi.

I really don't use anything other than the built-in Windows Security (or Defender as it used to be called). It includes ransomware protection, and its malware protection can be enabled in all versions from Home up. PUA/PUP detection is usually only enable for Enterprise customers, but it works in all editions.

Defender is rated as a Top Product by AVTest.org, unlike TotalAV which scores quite badly in their tests. Defender ranks alongside the likes of Avast and McAfee.

    Thanks for the links Bree.
I think I'll stay w/W10's Windows Security for now & tinker a little w/the Settings

For Popup blocking, use Popup Blocker for Chrome if Vivaldi supports Chrome extensions.

All I use is Windows defender here too. Randomly I will run a malwarebytes scan and it never finds anything...which leads me to believing that defender is doing it's job properly.

I have used Malwarebytes Browser Guard since it was in Beta.

I use it with the new Edge (chromium) and also they have a version for Firefox.

I also scan regularly with Zemana Antimalware Pro and other third party scanners.
