I see. Did you use the tool from Emisoft as I posted above?

    @Jacee -

No, this isn't the way. Sorry.
it's running , the laptop is 2tb ssd and 2tb hdd so it takes a while with full scans sadly .
P.S i think Comodo is the one that tampered with Microsoft Antivirus (second found entry) to shut it down so that's a false positive detection with safety scanner .

    Let's see what happens.

    I have another question.

Do you have another computer on which you created the Emisoft USB?

yes a couple more , they do not have such folder but probably i'll do the same to which once i find the appropriate packages that trap such things for real .
While I highly trusted Comodo+Malwarebytes+RogueKiller combo now I wonder if people have other recommendations .

    Windows Defender
    Malwarebytes (free)
    ADWCleaner (free)
    HTTPS Everywhere (Free)

    That's it.

All data must be scanned on another known clean system via a USB flash device. Do not enable AutoPlay.
Once verified clean with the above, you can restore back to the original system.

This includes application software as well. Download or install from a trusted source.

    What browser do you use?

@Compumind I have an odd result from the microsoft tool after 9 hours of scan :
    Attachment 261101
so basically it found a couple more viruses and one that it cant remove but the sweet thing doesnt want to tell me their names or locations , how convenient .
I did use HitmanPro after which its scan time was more reasonable , it just reported i had 47 tracking cookies (interesting ... Hitman 47) and then it had them deleted , now comes Emsisoft time , reporting back after its done .
    ...
    .
I can see detailes when searching. But not in history, after the search is done

On two laptops I've mothballed Malwarebytes premium and Defender and gone with Kaspersky Security cloud free. Seems to do all Defender does and Malwarbytes put together so far. Running it for a few months now and I'm impressed. Have Adwcleaner in the arsenal as well as a backup scanner if I ever need it. No issues with feature upgrades on fast ring either.
