    i just noticed that Tamper protection is turned off


    does that mean that I was running my windows 10 without antivirus ?
    im using windows 10 pro and the default windows 10 anti virus

    do I need to do a full Scan ?
    im using the PC as a server only and it is connected to the Internet

    No. Tamper protection is there to protect the registry settings for Defender from being altered by another (possibly malicious) app. When on, changes can only be made through the Windows Security app.

Tamper protection in 1903?

Just upgraded to Windows 10 1903 and have a question regarding the Windows Defender Tamper protection. If I need to turn off Real Time protection, will I need to turn off Tamper protection first?
