Unable to disable some security and maintenance settings

I'm unable to disable some security and maintenance settings (the Windows Update, Miicrosoft Account, Spyware and unwanted software protection, Windows activation, Device software, Startup apps and Homegroup ones since it won't let me click them) in Windows 10 1909.

Even after doing a clean install I still can't disable some security and maintenance settings (the ones I mentioned earlier). I've been having this problem since Windows 7.

If using an image created by NTLite, there are even more security and maintenance settings I can't disable.

Can you tell us why you want to disable these settings?

I'm just curious why I can disable the other settings but not these ones.

You start disabling these settings and your going to run into a world of hurt with your computer, there is a reason why they can't be disabled. Find a hobby that doesn't involve borking your computer.

They can't be disabled or they shouldn't?

Hi, RG. Quite a mixed bag of things you'd like to disable or get rid of. Tell us please what version of Windows you are on. Hold the Win Key and Press letter R, type WINVER and post a pic of what is displayed. The whole pic, please, not just some of the words from it. That's a start.

Far as the Microsoft account, you can always just use a Local Account.

Trying to disable activation is virtually impossible. MS needs to verify you have a valid install of Windows.

Too many to go into all the details yet without knowing more about what your intentions are. There may be a way to do some of these things, but need more info.

Tell us all you can about why this is a necessary step for you.

    Thanks.

I was just curious, that's all. Sorry, but what should I post a picture? My version is 1909 and the build is 18363.535.

Pic looks like this. Blank out any email that may be on it.

If this is all just curiosity, and not a problem, not and issue, not causing you machine problems, why the bump in post # 2, and why the wording in post #1 indicating it was? We'll all be glad to help with problems and issues, but.......

I know it looks like that but why would you need a picture when I already told you the build? Well, I guess I only wanted to know more about this, especially about device software (what does it really mean?), startup apps (I disabled them all in the settings app so why is this setting enabled?) and homegroup (I thought the latest Windows 10 versions didn't have it).

Not trying to give you a hard time, really. We don't always know if the OP knows where to find the info or interpret it. Very common to ask for a pic of the WINVER screen, we can see for ourselves without having to ask the OP to find the right info.

Homegroup is dead. Where are you seeing this?
