I am seriously worried that I have a virus - can anyone help me?
I have run Malwarebytes Free
e.g. Should I use BT Virus Protect which is free or Windows Defender?

PS Unfortunately I managed to install "Xtron System Care" (or more accurately a friend who was using my PC and clicked on the wrong thing!)

Scan with MBAM as the guides state and then follow up with a scan with one of the alternatives listed in the second link. Lastly, I would suggest that anyone who asks to use your computer, tell them that it or your Internet is not working at the moment.
If your system shows the rogue program in ' processes running', end the process, and then stop it in Services.
