    Andre,

Your WD documentation says quotation is about real-time protection.
Your But, I have this option enabled quotation is about the separate activity of non-real-time scanning.

I just leave WD with its default settings plus putting tamper protection on. Whilst I imagine that it might be useful to understand individual settings, the subject has never risen high enough in my priorities list & I doubt that it ever will.

    All the best,
    Denis

Understand that Denis. I can see now, that it was written very unclear.
Wanted to add both clarification (for offline - quick and full scan), and the fact that my setting is not default one.

Hi Denis. I don't mess with the default Defender settings either. My understanding of how Defender works and the documentation Ive read is a bit too vague. I also have Tamper Protection on.

I agree Andre, trying to understand exactly how Defender works is unclear to me too. Ive searched around the internet but the way documentation is worded is confusing
