    gmail hacked

    hi my gmail account has been hacked. i received 2 emails from Boost Mobile thanking me for a 60 dollar payment for cell phone service. the other email was thanking me for opening the account. i did neither of these things, and calling Boost Mobile did not help. i do not what to do, and where to start. any lead or help would be appreciated. thank you. pothound

    Most likely mis-directed mail or junk mail, I doubt you've been hacked.

    If you have no affiliation with Boost Mobile whatsoever, just delete the emails and put them on your block list.

    @pothound -

    Do you *use* Boost Mobile?

    If not, then it's a scam.

    If you haven't already you should enable two factor authentication on your gmail account.

    Hi,
    Just because an email states something it doesn't mean anything was so called hacked

    Just report to bank or credit card and confirm any recent charges
    If none exist it's just spam and disregard it happens all the time to target old people to get them to take the bait.
