    Windows Sandbox bug!

I just downloaded and installed the KB4512941 patch for Windows 10.

Before that patch the sandbox doesn't even start here.

Now it starts but the screen is always blinking. Something is wrong yet.

    Some ideas to solve this?

You've attempted to reinstall the app already?

Yes I did it! Nothing changed.

I notice that Vmmen in task manager is hitting 85% processor usage.

    Having the same issue here.

One Lenovo Legion y530 running the Brazilian version of Windows 10 Pro. UEFI boot.

Two much older notebooks ( six to ten years old) have NO blinking. MBR boot. The latest patch fixed the broken Sandbox and its working perfectly on both.

Maybe its a bug with the new graphic chips. Tried lowering the resolution. No change. Blinking just like the video posted above.

Interestingly this is the only thread that I founded that describes this bug.

Any idea how to catch Microsofts attention on this?

    Hi there,

I have the same blinking Sandbox on my Windows 10 system. Other that my Windows 10 is german language my system is very mainstream:

OS: Windows 10 Professional 64 bit Version 1903 (german language)
    CPU: Intel Core i7 @ 3200GHz
Graphics: Intel 630 UHD (CPU built in graphics)

I wondered also that there's nearly no info about this bug in the internet.

New September 10th 2019 updates didn't solve the blinking sandbox:

Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1903 for x64 based systems (KB4512941)
Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1903 for x64 based systems (KB4515384)

And still blinking sandbox gives high CPU load (40-50%).

Hopefully, you've reported all this to Feedback Hub. I scour the Windows chatter and reporting on the Internet daily, and yours is the only such report I've seen so far. That says your experience may (a) be limited and possibly unique, and (b) in need of reporting to Microsoft. Hope you find (and share with us) a solution!

    Hi!

I have the same problem too. My computer has Spanish Windows version.
I've searched about it but I haven't found anything about this issue.

    Do you have any news?

    Thanks in advance!

Hi to all, here is the solution:
I had the same blinking problem and it was only when i used individiual scaling sizes in systemsettings (changed from 250% to indi 240%) after rest to 250% sandbox worked perfect again.

    Hello,
I can confirm this works. In my case, I used the 100% scale and blinking was gone.
Turning off Personalized Scaling also works.

Yeah! I completely deactivated the personal scale and it worked, but despite that, the windows start menu in sandbox is very slow and full of strange texts:
