    How enable security setting BTIKernelRetpolineEnabled?

I'm checking the security status of a new HP laptop having a i5-8265U CPU under Windows 10 v1809.

The security settings below are shown. I'm concerned about the False setting for BTIKernelRetpolineEnabled. Should this be enabled for my CPU and if so, how do you enable it? I did install the latest Intel microcode update and HP BIOS update. Are the other settings OK?

Thanks. My PC currently has these values:

    My PCFeatureSettingsOverride =0 FeatureSettingsOverrideMask = 3

I dimly remember seeing something about the extisting value needing to be logically OR ed with the given value of 400. More research needed.

That guide says Do note that Skylake and later generations of Intel processors are not compatible with Retpoline. They will have only Import Optimization enabled on these processors.

My CPU is an 8th Generation Intel® Core™ i5 processor (i5-8265U). Am I correct in assuming those instructions don't apply?

Best to check withe @Dude or @OldMike65 . Maybe @f14tomcat.
I'm not sure if this fault was repaired in that generation.
