    controlled folder access filters

I do not understand what selections I should make as far as filters go.
There are 15 blocked files and I do not know if they should be allowed so I leave them as they are. I think I should leave this feature on to block ransomware but am I the only one who finds this feature hard to understand?
How should I set the filter?

Windows 1903 security suite with MBAM.
Is three a way to set default and leave it? The filter options are confusing to me. How should I leave the filters when simply using the computer? Under blocked there are about 29 entries now.

It will work fine with default settings - talking about filters. Filter would be useful, if you have many entries in history and would want to filter out some (let's say important...)

History entries are useful, as you can add programs to "allowed apps" that can access your protected folders. But be careful with that.

OK but it seems if I clear them then look at blocked thee are a bunch of them. Or, any other place for that matter.

When I set to clean then clear the blocked 20 items still remain.
I set to recommendations so it does not show the many blocked ones hoping that is the default.

This will not clear the history, only filters to view events
