    MsMpEngCP.exe stopped working


    I have been getting this error every day, once per day. Is there a known fix for this?

    Try running:

    chkdsk /scan
    sfc /scannow
    dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth

    Perhaps time to recover from a backup or do a repair install? I had a similar issue last year and had to recover from a Reflect backup.
