Windows 1903. Spyware and Unwanted Software Protection missing.

I first noticed this in the Nightly version of Fx under their Security Software list in about:support. The Antispyware name was blank. I believe prior to Windows 10 1903 it was listed as Windows Defender Antispyware or something like that.

Looking at Windows 10 1903 Security and Maintenance|Security only the Firewall and AV is listed. I believe, might be wrong on this, that it used to say something like Spyware and Unwanted Software Protection.Can anyone else who only uses Windows Defender on 1903 confirm that there is no antispyware program listed under S&M/Security? If so, is it now baked into the AV and not listed separately? I found a reg entry that if you create it an enable it is supposed to activate PUS and PUP but that still doesn't show up in any listing.

WD includes antimalware etc these days and includes real time protection.

100% absolutely no reason to use malwarebytes or any other 3rd party AV program / malware protection on latest version of W10. (Only talking about HOME computers - not enterprise or large networked systems).

Those 3rd party programs were designed when W7 etc didn't have built in decent protection -- W10 is reasonably safe these days -- in fact scamming is far more of a problem than any amount of concerns abour malware, pups or viruses - especially on Home / Mom & Pop individual type home machines.

Yes, this is in 1809....





...and this is 1903...



...but the Defender on that 1903 machine does have PUP/PUA protection enabled and working (as tested below).

Hi all,
I was on Win 10 Pro 1903 and then moved to beta version 2004 , still the same issue.


Antispyware is missing.


I cannot use my VPN Client because Antispayware is missing


I tried to find some solution on the Internet, but no luck

Any idea? Proposal?
I do not want to use a 3rd party app or to reinstall my laptop.

sfc and dism - gave all good results, but the issue remains.

It must be a bug on Firefox or other applications enumerating security support.

I do not think it is BUG of the Firefox.
yesterday, new update of the win10 received... again the same result... no antispyware module detected
