    Windows sandbox-anyone used it?

    Hi folks,

I have windows 10 pro due to having upgraded initially from windows 8 pro that was on a special offer of £14.99 from Microsoft years ago.

Just discovered that I can turn on windows sandbox, doesn't come with Home version, and have done so, seems ok though a little slow to start up.

As I do use the sandboxie third party program as well which I really like, does anyone else here use similar and any advantages if any, of using windows sandbox?

    Thanks for any info.

    Joe,

Yes. You are correct. It only comes for Windows 10 Pro. Anyways, You can't do as much with Windows Sandbox than like other programs like VMWare, Orcale Virtual Box, etc. To initally run Sandbox, You need 4GB of RAM and More than a 1 Core processer. In my personal opinon, I'd rather use VirtualBox, or VMWare. You can customize your OS way more. Plus, With Windows Sandbox, You get one fresh installation. Once you close out of it, It's gone. Unless if you want that. Yet, With something like VirtualBox (My personal favorite) You can shut it down, and then reuse that same Virtual Machine.

    TL;DR
This is more of a Bias question. If I were you, I'd stick with the one you'd rather use. It's sometimes better to pick what OS, and How much resources your VM is using.
