I also did the windows 1903 update recently and when i went to windows defender, i noticed tamper protection is off. Did they had this before the 1903 update? I never recalled something called tamper protection?

Do i turn this on? It was off when i first saw it.

    Hello Pauly,

It is recommended to leave tamper protection turned on to help prevent Windows Defender from being turned off from anything or anywhere other than directly from Windows Security.

Can confirm this is still happening. I updated to 1903 yesterday, and at some point while I was away from the computer today, tamper protection toggled itself off. Glad to hear it's some kind of common glitch and not a symptom of something worse.
