How to disable only "Virus & threat protection" notifications?
Using v1809 (which is very important because instructions you write probably won't be relevant for any other version).
I use F-Prot antivirus, which I know is not fully integrated into Windows 10. Which is why I keep getting Notifications every time it downloads a new AV database. Because F-Prot apparently disables itself when it installs a new database. Once disabled even for a second Windows 10 (and even Windows 7) sees it and notifies you to "Check virus protection." Then once enabled it then notifies you to "Update virus protection."
I can simulate this by disabling/enabling the F-Prot service. I've tried all switches I could find that pertain to security and app notifications. I've even tried Control Panel->System and Security->Security and Maintenance->Change Security and Maintenance Settings and unchecked Virus Protection. That's seems like a logical option, but doesn't work. Even in Sec. and Maint. it states Virus Protection--Currently Not Monitored, and there's an option to Turn On Messages About Virus Protection.
The only thing that seems to work is Notifications & Actions and disable "Get notifications from apps and other senders." But I don't want to disable everything. In Notifications & Actions I thought there used to be a separate list of all apps you could turn off, but not any more.
