Just yesterday my windows 10 was infected with this advertisement virus. Please see attached screen.
How to clean it out? It's very disturbing. The Chinese text is about sex dating....

my comp has the same thing but is about dontnotifyfriends.info.
pops up 10 times a day and is very annoying,

Although BleepingComputer.com has always been quite trustworthy, however on occasions the library content can be stale.
This is the case with the MB3 installer file. To be more accurate, the file can be updated after the completed install but the less experienced user may not be that aware. In the case of installer files that must be transferred to the computer in question via Sneakernet.
My general advice is to always download from the highest integrity site known. In the case of Malwarebytes, their CDN servers will always contain the highest possible release versions.
Recently, Malwarebytes management began to have the MB3 installer updated at least weekly if not more. Secondary sources usually do not keep up.
