    Windows firewall ignores my rule that i set


    I’m running this program on my 2nd PC and when I installed it it automatically allows it through. But i then also set my own inbound and outbound rule to allow it.

    But windows firewall ignores this rule and continues not to allow it through. When I disable the firewall it works perfectly.

    I’m actually going to upgrade to NOD32 premium that comes with its own firewall and disable windows 10.

    You gave us no information to work with. What program, what rules did you set? WHat version of Windows 10 (run winver from a Run box to see).

    Got it solved i just opened a port 8085
