Sandboxie 5.30 has been released

Hi phrab. The issue you are having activating the license is not being caused by you, your system or installation. The Sandboxie servers are causing the issue. I suggest you read the thread below, and follow the steps suggested by Barb. Likely, even if you follow her suggestions, your license might still not be activated. But don't worry, other users have also experienced issue activating their license this past couple of days. So, a fix is coming. Probably Monday.

I think its important to be calm. Dont start tweaking stuff that might mess up your computer. Also, dont click to activate, let the system do it on its own.

Thanks for the information. I tried to follow the "Activation Failed etc." link that you posted, but it asked for both a product key and a system code. I have the product key, but don't know what a system code is, so I can't even try to enter it manually. But I'll wait until Monday. (In the meantime, after updating, I'm having network issues & Macrium Reflect thinks I'm using a trial version although I bought it two years ago. Oh, well) I'll let you know what ultimately happens with Sandboxie. Thanks again!

Thank you again. I got my system code from your instructions & have my product key. However, when I entered them, + the version 5.30, it returned "Invalid data entered". Not sure why. Guess I should wait until Monday.

Thanks again!. Today (Monday), as you predicted, Sandboxie 5.30 activated & it's working. A message said that it would need activation every 6 months, even though the license doesn't expire. Not sure why they do this, but I checked the box that said "activate automatically".

Glad to help, phrab. The license needs to be activated 6 months after you update or next time you upgrade/downgrade your Sandboxie version. This activation system was put in place in 2009 to fight cracks/fake licenses.
