    Sandboxie 5.30 has been released

Sandboxie stable version 5.30 was released today. If you are a Sandboxie user, then you are probably aware that sandboxie.com and the Sandboxie servers have been down this past few days. This problem has caused users to experience issue when activating their licenses, updating the program, etc.

Sandboxie 5.30 was released to fix license activation issues. Installation of 5.30 went flawlessly in my W7 and W10, my license activated quickly and without issue. sandboxie.com is up now but slow, the SBIE forum is still down, its been upgraded.

You can get the installer from either of this links:
Sandboxie - Sandbox software for application isolation and secure Web browsing

    Separate installers

    Changes:

    Version 5.30
    Released on 23 April 2019.

Addressed a bug that affected activations and licensing creation.

Added partial support for Windows 10 Insider -Fast ring version 18362

(still working on full support, we are aware downloads will not work from sandboxed browsers)

The severs are now up. Version 5.30 was released to fix some of the issues. If you install it, your license should activate almost immediately (as usual), or after a few minutes. I did the update in 2 computers yesterday.

I'm still using Sandboxie version 5.26 because later versions create a problem with Thunderbird. You can't click a link in an email & open Chrome...you get a message that no application is associated with the link. I was told on the Sandboxie forum that this problem is corrected with Windows version 1809. However, Sandboxie forum still has problems & requires registering an account with Sophos, which I haven't done yet.

However, Windows Update said wanted to install a new feature update. During installation, it said that Sandboxie was incompatible with the update & asked if I wanted to uninstall Sandboxie & continue the update. I chose not to & used the WUshowhide.diagcab to hide it. I don't want to lose Sandboxie.

    My questions are:
    1) Should I update to Windows 10, version 1809 (64-bit) & ignore this update?
    2) If so, how can I get it, since it isn't offered yet thru Windows Update?

    Thank you in advance!

    I have the following winver:

Thank you for your response & I will follow your instructions regarding Sandboxie. However, I don't have Windows version 1809 yet. It's not offered to me thru Windows Update. These are my settings:

Is there a way for me to get version 1809 before it's offered to me? If so, how?

Thank you again for your help!

I have used the Windows 10 update assistant a few times. The computer has always updated successfully. Check this tutorial from Brink.

Just to let you know, I followed your instructions & everything worked like a charm:
    1. I uninstalled Sandboxie 5.26 (keeping the ini file) & after downloading the installer for 5.30.
    2. I upgraded Windows to version 1809. My shortcut keys work faster, my Classic Start menu loaded, & almost everything looked the same. In fact, a program (Smartboard 2000), an old clipboard extender had never worked in Windows, but now seems to.
    3. I installed Sandboxie 5.30 & it seems to work fine. I tested it with Thunderbird & I can click links with Thunderbird & it launches Chrome (something that 5.28 wouldn't do with Windows version 1803).

    Thank you again!!!

    Hi @bo elam:
I spoke a little too soon. I downloaded & installed Sandboxie 5.30 but when I try to use it, it says that Sandboxie is registered but needs to be activated. When I try to do so, I get a message that activation failed. I downloaded the one for Windows 10, 64-bit.
