I will try it out and get back with the results.

P.S if anyone has some knowledge on where the logs are being sent if you use a program to hide your ip with, please let me know.
    @Cerawy

TOR comes with NoScript so isn't great for general browsing.

I have several browsers installed including Firefox but I mostly use Vivaldi these days (chrome variant that accepts chrome extensions)

You can remove the unique ID and turn off Google Safe Browsing.

I use Trace extension (Premium @£3.29 GBP per year) with Vivaldi but you could use it in Chrome/ Firefox.

Trace - Privacy - see this for logging info.

    Free version is here:

    It takes some initial configuration.

It seems like you can't install any addons with the tor browser, for some reason. So i can't really say it's a good browser for everyday browsing. I'd like to know who gets my logs, if i use a browser like tor or a program like hide my ip, are they being sent to them?

    Have a read:

If you use TOR with addons then it defeats it's purpose (maintaining anonymity)

Also regarding general browsing (and your ip address)

Why can't I view videos on some Flash-based sites?

Some sites require third party browser plugins such as Flash. Plugins operate independently from Firefox and can perform activity on your computer that ruins your anonymity. This includes but is not limited to: completely disregarding proxy settings, querying your local IP address, and storing their owncookies. It is possible to use a LiveCD solution such as or The Amnesic Incognito Live System that creates a secure, transparent proxy to protect you from proxy bypass, however issues with local IP address discovery and Flash cookies still remain.

It is not a general purpose browser for all types of browsing activity.

You would be using a Client based interface. Those logfiles are kept on the "anonymizing' server and you cannot gain access to them.

    FWIW.

I never had a problem with disabling it.

Just to note, a program I use which cannot be named on this website, offers a "stealth mode" which does this. When enabled and using this site, I cannot see attachments and other pictures, like in Tutorials etc.

If scripts can run then your ip address is revealed. Or maybe I didn't understand the thread title.

It seems like they collect a bunch of data. I would probably trust my own isp, more than i would trust them. They also want you to register an account with your personal details, plus they want a monthly subscription.
