Not solved. Answer #7 did not work on my computer.

    When I run powershell.exe Get-AppxPackage -Name *AcrobatNotificationClient*
    I get no response.

Also, I don't have "Notification Manager for Adobe Acrobat" installed and I don't have that registry key mentioned.

But, I still get the message. I'm running Windows Home v 1809 build 17763.557.
Should I find and install "Notification Manager for Adobe Acrobat" and then uninstall it?

The article referred to by @Bree is my blog Happy to see people might find my blog useful.

The solution is to deploy Adobe's Notification Client app again. See #3 in Notification Manager for Acrobat Reader on Windows 10 1903

It's mentioned in the blog entry that running

    Code:
    msiexec /i {AC76BA86-7AD7-1033-7B44-AC0F074E4100} REINSTALLMODE=omus DISABLE_FIU_CHECK=1 IGNOREAAM=1 REPAIRFROMAPP=1 INSTALLUWPAPP=1 /qn
will deploy the notification client app.
