Kaspersky reporting potential Chrome certificate problem

On my Windows 10 Pro system I use Google Chrome and Kaspersky the past 2 weeks or so when starting Chrome I invariably get a Kaspersky warning
Cannot guarantee authenticity of the domain to which encrypted connection is established.
    Application: Google Chrome
    URL: 32dfe872-3b0a-d381-e851-957b5bcbc051
    Reason: Self-signed certificate
    The certificate information says
This CA Root certificate is not trusted. To enable trust, install this certificate in the Trusted Root Certification Authorities store.
My Home page is Google search page with 6 short cuts on it.

Any ideas on why has this suddenly started happening?

And thoughts on how do I stop it?

Ask Kaspersky support who were good when I used Kaspersky software.

My bank stopped offering free Kaspersky licences due to security concerns. I've been fine just using Defender augmented by offline scans by AdwCleaner and Malwarebytes.

Thanks (I suspect you use the same bank as me!).

Found that this problem is well known on the Kaspersky forum and has hundreds of posts. It seems the latest version of Chrome preloads Chromecast - if there's a Chromecast device out on the network? - and this causes Kaspersky to throw up the warning. I have a network internet radio that has Chromecast built in so I'd guess that's the cause.

As I don't (as far as I know) use Chromcast I did some more searching and found this fix. In Chrome's address bar type
and set Load Media Router Component Extension to Disabled. Then restart Chrome.

Don't know if there are any adverse consequences, time will tell. But so far so good...

So at first Kaspersky steals the certificate and then complains about it, that is rich.
This seems to be going on for months, just disable web filtering, it is useless anyway.
Disable - Inject script into web traffic / Select - Do not scan encrypted connections.

I just went through this on two systems for someone. I had to completely uninstall Chrome, delete all leftover folders (including hidden ones), and then clear out the registry, so all traces of Chrome were gone. Then I downloaded and installed a fresh copy and everything was fine. Kaspersky was happy again.
