    What happened to WD Browser protection for Chrome?

    Hello.

    I cannot find this Chrome extension on the Chrome Web Store anymore.

    Was it removed for some reason?

    Is this what you are looking for?

    Update: I just noticed that apparently it is only for the United States??

    By the way, I noticed that the Malwarebytes extension gets pretty good reviews if it interests you:

    Thanks Rubi. That explains why it cannot be seen from Spain.

    De nada.

    Actually I found it by external Google search not in the store itself.

    I don't even know what they mean by US only.

    Emsisoft Browser Security and Bitdefender TrafficLight are pretty good.
    There are others, like from Avira and such, but they block way too much.

    I think they mean it's only written to use US English. It would probably work in Spain, but you'd have to be bi-lingual to understand any messages it produces

    @Bree

    I also assume that's what it means but since it is not written there explicitly...

    On a more general note, I have seen now a number of people mentioning various options for browser addons including WD, Malwarebytes, Emsisoft, Bitdefender etc.

    Do you think there is value to using these as an extra layer of security or is the threat landscape evolving so rapidly that hackers and the like will manage to bypass these security measures?

    If it starts addressing me as dude in any alerts it's getting uninstalled immediately...
