I still think its a Microsoft issue, but curious, no?

Got a bunch of errors for a couple of days and when this happens always get the latest definition manually:
Latest definition updates for Windows Defender Antivirus and other Microsoft antimalware - Windows Defender Security Intelligence
DNS is Adguard here.
Are you on Comcast Mike?
I think the 75's have the issue. The Google worked instantly and quickly. So maybe anything other than the Comcasts:
IPv4 DNS Servers
Primary DNS: 75.75.75.75
Secondary DNS: 75.75.76.76
IPv6 DNS Servers
Primary DNS: 2001:558:feed::1
Secondary DNS: 2001:558:feed::2
It is still a problem here in UK (BT broadband), surely MS have to sort this, this is not an ideal workaround!
Did you try the Google DNS servers? Would be curious if it helped for you as well. After entering, restart the Windows Update Service and see what happens.
Russian DNS on the New-Jersey server. Not using family protection. Not sure there is a relation with DNS and Defender. Removing them does not make defender response better. Seems to be a temporary issue, like there is here and there in a year.
How to set up AdGuard DNS
.532 is released. Cannot get it yet, but not stuck. Will be my proof of DNS for me....
I think i'll power cycle my modem in the morning, been a while since done it, it's a Gateway device, Modem/router/wifi/emta in one device.
