Memory Integrity option cannot be turned off

I am unable to turn off the Memory Integrity option for some reason.
I even followed the steps below and rebooted, still keeps on enabling itself.
Turn On or Off Core Isolation Memory Integrity in Windows 10

Even try these settings to disable Credential Guard here.
    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/win...l-guard-manage

Even reinstalled Windows 10 by wiping out all the partitions starting from scratch. Still no luck.
Think this is a bug in v1809.

Before the complete reinstallation, I did enable the VBS settings with UEFI Lock features under the Group Policy.
But I am stumped as to why even after a reinstall I cannot disable the Memory Integrity option.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

If SecureBoot is enabled in the bios, you cannot disable that. It is there to protect the OS from the end user.

It has nothing to do with Secure Boot since I always had Secure Boot enabled without the Memory Integrity option .See all the comments with the same issues, no mentions of Secure Boot to be the cause.

The registry fix did not help either.
It keeps turning on again after each reboot.

This a bug still not fixed. Option 2 using the REG file method worked for me to turn off Core Isolation. Note you need to restart the PC.

I did the registry thing and in fact, I did it manually as well before and rebooted again and again, still, no luck. It is being enabled every time after each reboot. I even reinstalled Windows many times, still no success disabling it.
Please see my posted images, for me, the Memory Integrity switch option is not greyed-out, but when I run the registry file, and reboot, it keeps enabling itself.

When will this bug be fixed?

I am running v1809 at the moment.

Meanwhile, I had to disable all the Virtualization features in my UEFI settings.

Please keep me (or all), posted.

I defer updates so I'm still on v1803 which may explain the different behaviour.

So, I rolled back using a clean install of Win10 v1803.
And after numerous Windows Updates I rebooted my machine a number of times.
The Memory Integrity option is OFF without having to do nothing. Not even running the registry file fix.

So I guess this concludes a bug that is in v1809.

But then again, people were also having issues with this under 1803 but they got it fixed from the registry workaround. Don't know. I am not touching these new feature updates for a while.

Thanks to Bro67 (from post #2).

I got the Memory Integrity feature unlocked now to where it is not greyed out anymore.
As Bro67, posted, had to enable and re-enable Secure Boot. The Memory Integrity switch is NOT greyed out anymore.

However, the switch was OFF saying that this requires a restart to be ON again. So neither way, the switch toggle was LOCKED (meaning Greyed-Out) after even clean installing back to v1803.

So, disabling Secure Boot from the UEFI settings rebooting the machine and then going back to UEFI re-enabling Secure Boot again then restarting again.

Now, System Info has no Virtualization features running, which is the way it should be by default along with the Memory Integrity toggle switch being active again and not greyed-out.

Thanks to Bro67 and of course to all those who helped.
