IE 10 and Pelikan virus removal

    IE 11 and Palikan virus removal


    I just discovered that my IE 11 has the virus Palikan in the browser labeled as a default. I used the ALT + T , manage add ons,and found It mixed with browsers. How can I remove this ???? Thanks

    Thanks for your response. I tried that and it didn't work. I wish there was a way to eliminate IE on the control panel but there is no way.

    I do believe the default IE on Win10 is version 11, comes with it.

    Thanks for all your answers. I tried all suggestions, however, nothing changed my situation. I also updated to IE11 and the same situation exists, I did discover running some of the apps recommended that palikan is a carrier of many add ons so when you run a antivirus programs you eliminate some with each scan,

    You might want to consider asking in the forum here: Malware Removal Assistance For Windows | MalwareTips Forums.

    Describe in as much detail as you can what steps you took.

    Some of the steps here might be outdated but some could be tried: Remove the Palikan.com Home Page Hijacker

    It might also be good to run more than one scan with some of the tools mentioned in the original link since it seems there are multiple nasties installed with this particular malware.
