    Yes, there's lots of information to be had in a search - the problem is, you need to be aware of what is legit and what to stay away from (i.e. Spyhunter). As Bree suggested, Bleeping Computer is the best place to stay informed on these things. If a decryption algorithm is found, it will be available at Bleeping Computer, a very reputable site.

    Yes, I noticed a lot of info pages on the subject that are trying to promote certain software, services, or... scam (?).
