looking for a log viewer/analyzer to read the Windows firewall log

I've just started to log my firewall connections. I'm looking for a log viewer/analyzer to read the log. What is everybody's favorite. A big plus for free or cheap software, open source or proprietary, don't matter to me. But I'm willing to pay if it can provide really good insight into my traffic. How much I'm willing to pay depends on the capabilities of the software, but no more than $99.99.

    Thank you.

Sometimes the built-in Notepad is sufficient but maybe the free Notepad++ could be used.

Thank you. The tail function is neat. Not quite what I'm looking for, but I'll keep this around.

Rather than focusing on Windows Firewall log, focus on network traffic logs instead.

    Something simpler: LiveTcpUdpWatch

Or more advanced: Wireshark · Go Deep.

Or get a better GUI for Windows Firewall like GlassWire not sure about its logs though.

LiveTcpUdpWatch looks cool. I'll definitely add that to my arsenal. I'm also gonna try EventLog Analyzer. They have a free version.

Have a look at "Firewall Log Viewer for Windows" on the Microsoft Store

I tried it, NetTools is a good tool, but for a different purpose.
Unluckily it can't analyze Windows Firewall logs, filter and check Firewall actions (ex. BLOCKED or ALLOWED connections)

The tool I was suggesting is this one

    https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/p/fi...r/9PG2X0R1ZQ9V

Can open, analyze and improve Windows Firewall logs by doing additional geolocalization, resolving host names, etc... it's a nice swiss army knife. I found it on the Microsoft Store (so is checked by Microsoft) and I like this because I should not try multiple random software on my pc with the risk of compromising everything instead of improving the security.
