I have a Lenovo laptop running Windows 10 64 bit. I have Macafee security. I have numerous pop ups and I have run many virus scans, including with Malwarebytes. Nothing shows up. I use Chrome most of the time and I have Adblock Plus but nothing stops these pop ups. I will attach a photo.
Looks like a Push Notification from either a Mail client or a browser.
The moment you get one, open the Action Center and click the Settings sprocket on the banner...
I appreciate your advice. I do not know how to access the action center. There is no wheel on the popup. I do think it is related to the chrome browser.

Click icon to R of the date/time in taskbar then All settings (aka Action Center). Click System then Notifications & actions. Under Notifications switch all to Off and test. You can see that I have last one enabled and below is section where you can pick and choose who to get notifications from, like Alarms, Mail, etc.

Test with another browser, like Edge or Firefox.
You access the Action Center by sweeping left from the right-hand edge of the screen.
BTW, mrgeek, All Settings is equal to Settings (the gear icon) and formerly known as Control Panel. The Action Center is a panel to display notifications; it is NO WAY aka Settings or Control Panel.
