    Can I use programs from password bitlocker encrpyted drive?


    Hello, I have encrypted my main system drive with bitlocker and while encrypting my second Data drive, it asked me if I want to automatically unlock it when system starts or use a password, I rather have used a password, but the thing is I keep some programs and games installed on that drive, so my main ssd would not fill up. My question is would programs would still start before entering the password if I chose the password option, obviously I could enter the password and thats it, but I have some apps installed on that drive that runs on startup and I would like to keep it that way, without entering password.

    Sorry if its a bit unclear what I mean. Thank you for your answers. :)

    The data drive will remain inaccessible until you enter the password. To enable programs on that drive to run at startup you need to enable the option to unlock the drive automatically when system starts.
